Real Life

A friend phoned me recently to share how her prayer was answered. She was sitting in her car just before a demanding endurance training session. She didn’t feel particularly energetic. She prayed that God would help her through the session. It was not until the evening when she reflected on her day and thought how she enjoyed running in the park on a beautiful spring day, that she realized how comfortably she worked through her session. She was reminded that God is actively involved in all aspects of our lives. He does answer prayers without us realizing it or even immediately expecting it. Prayers are our way of communicating with God and it doesn’t have to be complicated.

Thinking About It

Prayer is not only for the larger issues and the more challenging situations in our lives. God wants to actively be part of our daily living.
